Learning strategies part 1: online dictionaries
Sometimes you want to or you have to look up some words you don't know. For example, when writing your homework or when reading an English book. You can either use an English dictionary you have at home or you can use the internet or your mobile phone! Here are two online dictionaries that I like to use:
dict.cc (English German dictionary)
LEO
Another good thing about the online dictionaries is that you are able to listen to the words as well! Yo you'll not only get to learn a new word but also how to pronounce it!
Now go and try looking up some words! For example: What's "Säule" in English? Or what about "ohnmächtig" or "vergesslich"?
